Bob Marley 1976.05.13 Orchestra Hall, St. Paul, Minneapolis

Bob Marley - Orchestra Hall, Minneapolis, MN - May 13 1976 - *SBD*
Size: 453.45 MB

After many years of searching for this hometown recording, I finally obtained it late last night. While not a perfect SBD (Bob's vocals only the left channel, strange mixing, etc.), it's still way good enough. An amazing show! It was historic in that it was the first non-classical music ever played at Orchestra Hall (only 2 blocks away from where I am right now!), and Bob had such a grand time that he hung out in the city for about a week after the show. Wow! Wish I wasn't in grade school only a mile away when this concert happened. ;)

I don't know where or who shared this, but of course, thanks goes to who ever that was. It must be someone not from the Twin Cities, because they list Orchestra Hall of being in St. Paul, but in truth, the Hall is straight in downtown Minneapolis (1111 Nicollet Ave., 2 blocks from Tom Waits ode to the infamous corner of "9th & Hennepin")

Anyways, my long hunt is over, and now is your reward as well! Go on and give yourself an irie smile and groove to one of the very best!

 As always, enjoy!
