Frank Zappa - Bongo Fury (50th Anniversary)

BONGO FURY compie 50 anni! La classica collaborazione tra Frank Zappa e Captain Beefheart del maggio 1975 diede vita a una serie di nuove composizioni, un tour e infine un album.  Bongo Fury è composto principalmente da registrazioni dal vivo effettuate presso l'Armadillo Headquarters di Austin, in Texas, oltre ad alcune registrazioni in studio presso il Record Plant di Los Angeles. L'album è un'aggiunta memorabile al catalogo Zappa e l'ultimo a presentare il nome della band "Mothers" prima del suo ritiro nel 1976. Questa nuova edizione per il 50° anniversario presenta 5 CD di materiale (circa l'80% inedito), tra cui outtake in studio e brani dal vivo, oltre ai due concerti degli Armadillo completi e remixati dai master originali a 16 tracce. Include anche foto inedite e note di copertina del membro della band, Denny Walley, e del Vaultmeister Joe Travers. Il Blu-Ray presenta il nuovo Dolby Atmos, mix 5.1 e audio stereo ad alta risoluzione con esperienze surround bonus da Zappa's Vault.
